Come and see us at the Royal Highland Show!
This weekend Cycling Scotland will be at the Royal Highland Show, with our WattBike Challenge, promoting freshnlo Pedal for Scotland alongside our sponsors Wiseman Dairies. Wiseman's, who produce the low fat skimmed milk freshnlo, have a huge presence at the annual event dubbed 'the greatest show on earth', with a huge range of games, challenges and educational exhibits, not to mention numerous opportunities to sample their milk.

Cycling Scotland have joined them this year in celebration of our new partnership, and are asking punters to test their cycling power on the WattBike. The bikes, used by British Cycling to test athletes' performance, measure the power of your cycling output in watts. Sir Chris Hoy can generate over 2200 watts, and Olympic Champion Victoria Pendleton clocks up over 1200.
On our first day at the show we had some impressive scores, with a children's high score set at an incredible 1080 watts, and the adults total at 1439 watts. The current high score for Wiseman's staff sits at 1145, impressively set by Marketing Co-ordinator Gary Mills. Why not see if you can beat these high scores? All entrants receive a free goody bag and entry into a prize draw for a set of bikes for the whole family, and the highest score each day gets free entry to Pedal for Scotland.
