Cycling to School
Welcome to Cycling Scotland's Guide to Cycling to School
This online guide to cycling to school has been created to support Cycling Scotland's campaign to get more children cycling to school. The campaign has identified 4 areas where facilities for cycling to school have been significantly upgraded - Edinburgh, West Lothian, Moray and Aberdeenshire. Details on Route information and Maps and Local school cycling facilities in these 4 areas can be found here, just click on the links.
Cycle Friendly Schools
Cycling Scotland has launched a new scheme to encourage cycling to school. The Cycle Friendly School Award is a new scheme that recognises schools that provide all the required infrastructure for cycling, and provide incentives and promotion to encourage pupils to do it. Find out more here.
